One of the benefits of being an Omron Certified Integrator is access to their Proof of Concept Center in Cincinnati for proving out applications with the very latest in automation technology. We are currently experimenting with a collaborative robot that will be able to both pick and place plastic parts onto a fixture, then have the cobot use a cam to attach to the fixture and place the parts onto a rack.
Collaborative robots are becoming more and more popular for a wide variety of processes and applications, from reducing repetitive tasks to improving ergonomics. We are excited to begin integrating these for our customers!
